Effective Date: June 1, 2021

Scope:
This policy applies to all programs, seasons, and individuals associated with CarShield FC. Any inquiries regarding this policy must be directed in writing to the Club’s Director of Finance & the Club’s President.

1. General Policy Statement

CarShield Futbol Club (the “Club”) is committed to providing elite-level competitive soccer. Because the Club’s operational costs (including league entries, facility leases, and staffing) are predicated on seasonal rosters, all financial commitments made by a Parent or Guardian (“Member”) are considered final, irrevocable, and non-refundable.

2. Tryout Fees

All fees associated with tryouts are non-refundable.

  • Exceptions: A refund may be considered only in extreme, documented circumstances (e.g., a medical condition preventing attendance) provided that contemporaneous medical documentation is submitted to the Club.
  • Current Status: Notwithstanding the above, if the Club does not currently assess a tryout fee, this clause remains a standing policy should fees be implemented in the future.

3. Registration and Club Fees

Upon execution of the Parent/Player Agreement or electronic acceptance of a roster spot, the Member assumes an unconditional financial obligation for the full amount of all Registration Fees for the duration of the entire seasonal year.

  • No Proration: Registration Fees will not be prorated, credited, or refunded under any circumstances.
  • Non-Contingency: The obligation to pay is not contingent upon the Player’s playing time, roster status, or ability to participate. This includes, but is not limited to, absences due to injury, illness, academic issues, relocation, or voluntary withdrawal.
  • Disciplinary Action: Should a Player’s privileges be suspended or terminated for disciplinary reasons, all remaining fees for the full season remain due and payable immediately.

4. Team-Specific Fees and Dues

All Team Fees (including but not limited to tournament entries, coach travel expenses, and parent-funded events) are non-refundable.

  • Once the Parent/Player Agreement is signed, the Member is liable for their pro-rata share of all team expenses for the full seasonal year, regardless of whether the Player attends specific events or tournaments.

5. Delinquency and Enforcement

Failure to satisfy financial obligations by the established deadlines will result in the following actions:

  • Immediate Suspension: The Player’s right to participate in training, games, and club events will be suspended until the account is brought current or a written payment plan is approved by the Club.
  • Permanent Removal: Continued delinquency may result in the permanent forfeiture of the Player’s roster spot; however, such removal does not waive the Member’s liability for the outstanding balance.
  • Future Registration Bar: No player with an outstanding balance will be permitted to register for subsequent seasons or participate in tryouts.
  • Transfer Restrictions: Pursuant to Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) guidelines, CarShield FC will not approve or “release” any player transfer or player card until all financial obligations to the Club and the individual team are satisfied in full.
  • MYSA ‘No-Play’ List: Any account remaining delinquent as of June 1st will be reported to the Missouri Youth Soccer Association for placement on the state-wide “No-Play” list. This will effectively bar the player from participating in any MYSA-sanctioned activity across the state until the debt is cleared.
