CarShield FC REFUND POLICY

Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.

Refund Policy Effective June 2021 The Carshield FC Futbol Club is committed to providing the highest level of competitive soccer to its members. In order to best serve the needs of our members, the following policy has been developed regarding refunds or fees paid related to the club.

Tryout Fees – Tryout fees, if any are ever required, are considered non-refundable and will not be refunded. The only exception to this will be in extreme circumstances when a player pays a tryout fee and is able to document a legitimate reason for not attending said tryout (i.e. medical condition). At this time CarShield FC does not require tryout fees.

Registration Fees – All Registration Fees are non-refundable. This includes initial club deposits, fees to MYSA or SLYSA. Once the Parent/Player Agreement has been signed to participate in a season, the parent is responsible for the full amount of Registration Fees for the entire length of the season. Even in the event that Player’s club or playing privileges are suspended and/or terminated for any reason, including but not limited to disciplinary or academic issues, injury or illness, and understand this to mean that in no case will the Registration Fees be prorated for any portion of the season. No refunds will be provided prorated or other should the player not honor their commitment to the club for the season(s) they registration is for.

Team Fees/Dues – All Team Fees/Dues are non-refundable. Once the Parent/Player Agreement has been signed to participate in a season, the parent is responsible for the full amount of any Team Fee/Dues for the entire length of the season including parent-paid events and tournaments that are outside the inclusive coverage of the club’s activities. Even in the event that Player’s club or playing privileges are suspended and/or terminated for any reason, including but not limited to disciplinary or academic issues, injury or illness, and understand this to mean that in no case will the Team Fees/Dues be prorated for any portion of the season.

Failure to Pay In Full – If payment for Registration Fees or Team Fees/Dues is delinquent, then the Player’s playing and participation privileges with the team may be suspended until the delinquent amount is paid or an appropriate payment arrangement is made with the club. Failure to pay team or club fees by the due dates that are outlined by the club and the individual team may result in permanent removal from a team with the amount due in full. Any player with an outstanding balance for any season will not be allowed to register for the next soccer season until full payment has been made, and no transfer will be approved through MYSA. Any player with an outstanding balance from any season of play as of June 1st will be reported to Missouri Youth Soccer Association and placed on the ‘No-Play’ list, which will result in the player not being allowed to participate in soccer anywhere within Missouri Youth Soccer Association until payment is made in full.
